In addition to being a lifelong lover of captivating stories, I am also a devoted mother of two incredible and spirited girls who consistently keep me on my toes and fill my life with endless joy and challenges.

I remember falling in love with stories my senior year in high school when I was introduced to dystopian tales that challenged me to think differently about the world. Up until then, I’d never been much of a reader, so it is completely true for me to say that books changed my life. I recall a friend saying to me that he only read books to learn something. I agree. I read to learn what it means to be human, and the trials, tribulations, and tenacity of stories—whether real or imagined—challenge me to think differently and inspire me to be better.

Memoir is my favorite genre, but I love a gripping novel as well. Stories bring people together. They are meant to be shared, so let’s share them with each other.
